The Alpaca Ontario Show Committee is hard at work planning the 11th annual Alpaca Ontario Show. Last year marked our 10th anniversary and we had the opportunity to reflect on the past and the progress that has been made since those early days. Now we move on to the future of the alpaca industry. It is time for advancements, changes, and moving forward with a unified vision. There is no better way to see these changes than up close in the show ring. The quality of the animals has improved dramatically over the past few years and this is a testament to the hard work and good animal husbandry practices of alpaca breeders in Canada. We are excited to see a new crop of quality alpacas at one of Canada’s largest alpaca shows.

The Sponsorship Program for 2012 invites all Alpaca Ontario members, and industry supporters, to become a part of the excitement and growth of the show by becoming a Show Sponsor. Sponsorship may be in the form of cash or an equivalent dollar value in services. Please follow this link for advertising opportunities.

Several levels of sponsorship are available and are described below. All levels of sponsorship, except for the Gold, Corporate and Diamond, can be purchased on the online show registration site. All sponsors will receive recognition on the Alpaca Ontario website and throughout the show weekend, including signage at the show and banquet stating the level of sponsorship.

In appreciation of all show sponsors, both the farm and breeder name will be published in the AO Show report in the June issue of Camelid Quarterly


Corporate Sponsor: $4,000.00 Benefits negotiated with sponsor.
Diamond Sponsor: $2,000.00 Benefits negotiated with sponsor.

Platinum Sponsor: $1000.00 Farm logo and weblink displayed prominently on AO website show pages (main page and sponsor page), ¼ page ad in showbook, ringside banner, recognition throughout weekend. This sponsorship can be purchased during online registration.

WE HAVE OPPORTUNITIES TO USE CREDITS THAT ARE EARNED FOR THE FOLLOWING LEVELS OF SPONSORSHIP
These credits can be used in the following ways: toward banquet tickets, ring side banner, farm showcase, ¼ page advertisement in showbook, and/or participant package advertising. The credits are a 1:1 monetary ratio - 1 credit = 1 dollar. A maximum of 500 credits in total may be accumulated. Credits must be used before Dec 31, 2012.

Gold STUD Sponsor: A farm donating a stud service becomes a Gold Sponsor when the donated stud service is purchased in the 2012 AO Stud auction. Please see further details of benefits on the STUD AUCTION page. In addition to recognition throughout the weekend, Gold sponsors will receive priority choice of pen location for alpacas entered in the show based on registration date.
The purchasing farm also receives a website link.

Silver Sponsor: A donation of $500. 100 credits.

Bronze Sponsor: A donation of $250. 50 credits.

Ribbon Sponsor: Another great way to get farm recognition is by sponsoring a ribbon. The sponsoring farm name is permanently embroidered on the banners or embossed on the ribbons and announced as the banner/ribbon is awarded. The ribbon category to sponsor can be selected during online registration. No credits are awarded for this category.
$150.00 each - Huacaya Supreme Champion Male or Female and Best in Show Suri
$80.00 each – Best Multi Huacaya and Best Multi Suri
$60.00 each - Huacaya/Suri Get of Sire and Huacaya/Suri Produce of Dam
$50.00 each - Huacaya Male/Female Colour Champions and Suri Colour Champion
$40.00 each - Huacaya Male/Female Colour Reserve Champions and the Suri Colour Reserve Champion
