Invite your vet to attend a 'VETS ONLY' session with
Dr. Gregg Adams
Friday, November 20 from 5 to 7 pm
University of Guelph, Ontario Veterinary College
Room 1713 in the Lifetime Learning Centre
This session will include a presentation on reproductive
management and BSEs in male and female alpacas, followed by an
ultrasound wetlab with live animals for demonstration and practice
by participants.

Guest Speaker
Dr. Gregg Adams

Dr. Adams is a popular speaker at many alpaca education seminars and teaches veterinary anatomy in the veterinary curriculum at the University of Saskatchewan. He is a team member of the course Biomedical Rounds that was awarded the Provost's Prize for Innovative Practice of Teaching and Learning, University of Saskatchewan (2008). Dr. Adams also consults on theriogenology cases admitted to the WCVM Veterinary Medical Centre.







Guest Speaker
Dr. Joanne Hewson

Dr. Hewson became board certified with the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Large Animal) in 2001, and completed a PhD in respiratory pathobiology at the University of Guelph in 2004. She has been on faculty in the large animal internal medicine section of the Ontario Veterinary College since 2003, and has strong clinical interests in respiratory diseases of cattle and horses, neonatology, and a clinical interest in camelids.
