2010 Stud Auction

S C H E D U L E


Alpaca Ontario Inc. will be hosting its' fifth annual Gold Stud Online Auction January 22 through January 24, 2010

Please note the 2010 schedule, as follows:

  • The Auction will only be live for 3 days - Jan. 22 to Jan. 24, 2010
  • The Auction will begin to close at 7:00 pm EST Sunday evening. Stud services will close in groups of 5 in 15 minute increments.
    For example:
    • First 5: Close at 7:00 pm
    • Next 5: Close at 7:15 pm
    • Next 5: Close at 7:30 pm
    • Next 5: Close at 7:45 pm, etc...
  • The top 3 studs sold in 2009 will be featured at the top of the auction list. Bids on these 3 only will begin at $1,000.00. The bidding for all others will begin at $750.00.
  • If nominated for 2010, the top 3 featured studs from 2009 are:
    1. Cinder Bar, Silver Cloud Alpacas, Elginburg, ON
    2. S. Dreams Zac Accoyo Cat, Northfork Alpacas, Uxbridge, ON
    3. Ring Ranch Matrix, Twoloom Alpacas, Hastings, ON
  • Studs will be placed online in the order they are received.
  • Entry form to be either filled out online and emailed to the Alpaca Ontario webmaster or downloaded and scanned or faxed to the Alpaca Ontario webmaster. Email address is info@alpacaontario.ca and fax number is (705) 696-2099.
  • All nominated stud information must be received by the webmaster no later then Sunday January 10, 2010 to be included in the auction. All information required to be sent in can be found on the website or will be emailed to you.

Purchasers:

  • Use of stud male only for breeding at the arranged time between owner and purchaser.
  • Recognition as purchaser of stud service.
  • Terms of payment:
    • 50% Feb. 1, 2009
    • 50% Mar. 15, 2009
    • All payments are subject to 5% GST

Terms:

  • It is entirely up to each donor and purchaser to negotiate the terms & conditions (i.e., with respect to live birth guarantees, BVD testing, de-worming, etc.) prior to the Auction’s close by phoning/emailing the farm/ranch whose stud you are interested in bidding on. All breedings are to take place in 2010 unless otherwise negotiated between the parties.
  • Note: Winning bids are subject to 5% GST. For example, if your winning bid is $1,000, GST would be $50 or 5% of $1,000. Your payment to Alpaca Ontario would then be $1,050.00.
  • Only donating farms of purchased stud services will become Gold Sponsors at the 2010 Show in Orangeville.
